Bacon N Egg Pie
Bacon N Egg Pie. Whisk remaining egg in a small bowl and use to brush pastry. In a mixing bowl, lightly whisk the remaining 6 eggs with the milk, salt and pepper.

If one sheet is not big enough, they easily join together, just squish them with your fingers (save offcuts for decorations). Arrange in a lattice on the pie. Whisk eggs, milk and seasonings until blended;
In The Thermomix Bowl (No Need To Clean It This Time), Add The Eggs And Crream Or Milk And Mix For 10 Seconds, Speed 6.
Sprinkle over the remaining cheese. Roll out remaining pastry thinly and cut into narrow strips. In a mixing bowl, lightly whisk the remaining 6 eggs with the milk, salt and pepper.
Add Eggs, Cream, Salt And Pepper To A Large Mixing Bowl And Whisk Until Combined.
Bake until egg pie is set and deep golden brown, about 1 hour. Sprinkle on the the bacon, onion and cheese. Create six small indentations in the filling and carefully crack in six eggs, taking care not to break the yolks.
Grease A 25 X 16Cm Slice Tin With Butter.
Pour the egg mixture into the tin. Heat oven to 200c/180c fan/gas 6. On work surface, unroll dough.
Method Preheat Oven To 200C.
Add a good grid of salt and pepper. Pour over the egg and cream mix around the eggs, again taking care not to break the yolks. Cut 1 pastry sheet in half to form 2 rectangles.
Arrange In A Lattice On The Pie.
Break in 8 whole eggs. Line a deep 21cm/8 inch loose based cake tin with shortcrust pastry. Brush the pie all over with the milk.
